Rainbow Baskets by Shirley Eichten Albrecht

Known by many as a “Rainbow Basket,” this small beauty - 6” x 5 ½” (size can vary slightly) - is handwoven by Sedona artist, Shirley Eichten Albrecht. The spokes of rattan reed are hand-dyed in bright rainbow colors and then woven with natural rattan reed.

Shirley Eichten Albrecht has been weaving for nearly 13 years. Her move to Sedona has inspired her to create new designs, explore, and combine various materials such as Raku pottery, gourds, and antlers.

Note: Each basket designed by Shirley Eichten Albrecht is a completely original item. They will all look and have a similar style to the picture above, but may have slightly different colorations, markings, and shape.
